Are you planing on installing legs with a skirt board such as you would have on a table? Or are you just planning on having the legs standing by themselves? The latter would not look all that good in my opinion.
If you have legs attached to a skirt board that attaches to the cabinetry then that along with a little silicone or construction adh. between the skirt board and the granite will hold the whole thing in place.
If your worried about the legs getting kicked out at the bottom you could pin them to the floor, by pinning them I mean putting a dowel into the leg bottom and the floor to prevent anything/anyone from kicking them out.

JUST GOING TO STAND THE LEGS UNDER THE COUNTER TOP NO SKIRT BOARD. AND SET ON THE FLOOR.
Your going to have a problem keeping the legs in place.
I dont know if construction adhesive would keep that leg from moving? You could probably apply enough const. adhesive to the top of the leg and dowel the bottom of the leg into the floor and it might stay put, not real sure.
The bottom of the leg is the most likely area to get bumped out of place so with it secured to the floor and the adhesive on top you might be fine.

It sure is embaRRASSING when your caps lock gets stuck on doesn't it?;)I would calc where the center of the lag lands, and drill a 3/16" hole down through the floor, find and mark it below. Then use a double end lag to join the top to the counter with glue also. Then run down into the bassement and screw up into the leg

Pocket screws (Kreg jig) would work. Get some of the wood plugs to fill in the screw holes. Painted, stained, ...? They make the plugs in several types of wood if you are staining.
Just put a stool under it like I did...lol.
I drilled a hole for a 3/4" dowel in the floor and in the bottom of the legs so if some wise guy went and kicked it they'd break their foot, not my island.
Be well

Creation arises, is sustained for awhile, and then things change. That’s the dance.

If it was me I'd support the overhang with a bracket instead of legs. Leaves more room for sitting/ stools plus cleaning the floor is much easier.
