Has anyone built with one of these?
Danish-made, shipped as a kit of components, parts glue together with the fireclay mortar furnished with the kit.
Fireclay bricks ship with the kit for laying up the lining.
May be piped up to the chimney top with doublewall SS class A flue piping.
Certainly more expensive than doing a woodburning fireplace using something like a Heat’N’Glo zero-clearance unit, but maybe less expensive than doing it in full masonry. Maybe.
Whaddya think?

Gene,
We did one a few years ago. Pretty slick assembly. It went on the second story of a barn remodel so bracing the floor was the major problem. Had to consult with one of them engineer fellows.
