Hello again,
I wanted to ask if you guys have anymore suggestions for the access panel for the Jacuzzi. We would like to tile the front of the deck. How would you remove the tile and grout if you place it over the access?
PS I wrote this question about a month ago and got some good info, just figured I could get another option for the WIFE to evaluate.
Thanks Turtleboy

Make sure remocable panel is super well reinforced, then grout all but tje joint for the opening. Use a color matched silicone grout that can be cut out when access is needed. You will be suprised at how often you will need access. If possible, it;s better to hide joint at edges of panel so there will be some sort of trim or accent to cover the joint so there will be no need to grout it.
What's the layout? I wouldn't want to do front access at all. If possible I would try to come in from the end the motor is on. Or a long shot would be from underneath.
p.s. this is going to be my first attempt at scanning.

One more tip that I'm sure you've figured out. Never locate the GFI under the jacuzzi. Put it in a closet, that way if it trips you won't have much hassle to reset it.

or in the panel box...
...and the tile supplier or installer should have a catalog from a German co. whose name I can't remember, which makes an access system that's tiled over...

Thanks to all for the help. I would like to try to get access from the right hand side of the unit.
Thanks again, Turtleboy
