I just set up a Dab DP 255 A a few days ago, and I wonder if I did it all right.
I used my old 0.75 inch pipes for pressure pipes, and added 1 inch pipes for delivery pipes (the pump asks for 1 inch for pressure and 1.25 inch for delivery). I think it will be ok, since the deeper the suction depth is, the larger pipes are needed, which means for shallower suction depth smaller pipes are ok. The original set (1 inch for pressure + 1.25 inch for delivery) is for 0-30 meters suction depth, and my suction depth is only 12 meters.. Can anyone confirm that it’s ok to use the smaller pipes like I did? Or will it reduce the preformance greatly? What’s the effect?
And anyone knows the delivery pressure for this pump, Dab DP 255 A ? I checked everywhere and there’s nothing.
If not, maybe there’s other pump with it’s specifications, and I can use it’s delivery pressure?
Suction : 30 meters
Discharge : 30 meters
Pipes: 1 inch (pressure) + 1.25 inch (delivery) + 1 inch (discharge)
250 watts, 1 hp.
Thanks.

The smaller pipe will restrict the volume of water than can flow through the pipes. Keep in mind that a 0.75" pipe can only handle half the volume of a 1" pipe. This wouldn't be a serious problem for a mechanical pump, but not sure about a jet pump, where there's no doubt a critical flow volume needed for the pump to work.
