I have built a big freestanding subpanel that works well but has left me confused. It is 4 wire back to the temporary pole to separate the ground and neutral and I installed 220 volt ground fault breakers in the panel for the 220 circuits. My confusion sets in from the 220 ground fault to the table saw. Panel to saw is 3 wire. Should I rewire the saw to 4 wire to separate its neutral from ground to enjoy maximum safety?
