Thanks.
I made the nosecap and trigger guard, and shaped the stock. The lock and barrel were off the shelf.
I would give the workmanship on the pistol about a "C". it was one of my first attempts.
I am going to take some pictures of a pair of rifles I made for a U of Ill. professor a few years ago. The wood was absolutely the best curly maple I have ever come across. There was 420 curls in the maple from the buttplate to the nosecap.

The name doesnt ring a bell, but I do go to some shoots near Sullivan, Il. which is near Effingham. I bet he knows some of the guys at that club. Ask him if he knows Rick Montague, Rod Newberry, Steve Wood, some of the nicest guys I have personally met.
