Doing a kitchen remodel that adds a “built in” look refrigerator. The “boss” would like to “built in” the entire wall which is a counter/oven/refrig/counter. Three 2X4 walls (face = 4-3/4″) separate the counter/oven, oven/refrig and refrig/counter. The plan is to replace them with 3-3/4″ oak plywood panels and install cabinets over the oven and refrig. This will add 12″ of needed counter space to the corner counter. Trying to anticipate problems. The floor is ceramic tile and will need to move the floor over as the rerig and oven shift over as wall sizes are reduced. Have spare tiles. Question is how do I lock in the bottom of the 3/4″ walls of the refrigerator cabinet?
Any other ideas/tips would be appreciated.
