Hi, I live in Canada, and own a 1 1/2 story capecod. I am thinking of putting insulation on the sloped roof section of my knee wall. Right now there is insulation on the knee wall, and the floor. I was thinking about screwing foam paneling to the rafters on the roof side, allowing air to flow to the peak of the roof. Any thought? Thanks

I think you are on the right track. Bringing the kneewall 'inside' the conditioned space is often easier. Otherwise the floor in the kneewall space also has to be treated as a weather boundary, which can be awkward.
