They purport to serve fine thread and coarse thread applications. Duel helical threads, I believe.
I bought a box, so far they seem OK (in white oak). Need to use up some coarse screws then I’m on to use these up. I hope they work well since I bought a box of 1000.
Anybody use them?

I use both fine and coarse threads. Fine for the hardwoods and coarse for soft, both work well for their respective woods.
EDIT; I re-read your post, maybe your talking about a new all purpose screw? If so I have no experience at all - my bad

They are not new. I got a box of each of the three when I got my Kreg. Picture a tapcon (minus the little serations/cutters in the thread). Just like the name says they are high/low, two threads. Have not used many because I usually use the coarse ( I am just that kind of a guy).

I wonder how well those would work on hickory? That stuff is so damn hard/dense, first time I ran a coarse thread into it by mistake it split apart on me.
I don't know if I've seen them before though, maybe I wasn't paying attention! I prefer the Kreg screws to all the other brands available, seem like better quality.
Doug
Do not know about the hickory. Should work, the fine might be better though. They are a good quality , I got mine from Amazon and at the time they were a pretty good deal.
I have an Ethan Allen plant here in my town adn I am going to see if they have any kind of surplus sale outlet. They sometimes get rid of discontinued stuff. A buddy has a bunch of table tops. He just bought their old plant.
Doug,
The Hi-Lo has been around for as long as I can remember using my Kreg.
According to Kreg's description on my box of hi-lo screws:
"The hi-lo is perfect for medium woods like cherry and poplar ................................works well in oak but the SPS-F125 (pan head fine) is a better choice for very hard woods like hickory and hard maple"
Barry E-Remodeler
Yep, hi-lo's are for poplar.
Maybe I've used them and never noticed!
I know that hickory is so dense that the coarse threads will split it. Have to use the fine.
Doug
Coarse and fine are what I've been using too. When I was running low on the 500 box of the course thread I looked on amazon and found the Hi-Los. If they work as advertised it will e nice to only need the one type for the boxes and the face frames. Time will tellTFB (Bill)
Double check pricing at http://www.coastaltool.com before you order next time. They did have the best prices last time I ordered.
