kreg jig what size screw for 1″ stock

i am fastening a 1″ thick windowstool to my window with my kregjig and pocket screws. they recomend 11/4″ screws for 3/4″ material and 21/2″ srews for 11/2″ material. do they make a 11/2″ screw? one more question. when i drill the pockethole should the tip of drillbit go through the material just a little bit or stop short a bit. thanks for any help.

WP,
They sell 1-1/2" screws. You can adjust the drill depth so that the bit just comes through the first piece, but check it on scrap that the point does not come through the face of the second piece.
Doing 3/4" stock I have to be adjusted just shy of poking through the first piece, or the 1-1/4" screw's tip will come through the face of the second piece.

thanks, you answered all my questions.
I'll second what Bill said.

Check out page 18 of this link, it tells you all the different screws to use for material thicknesses. Also, on the next page it tells you what threads to use for different materials.http://www.kregtool.com/education_center/manuals/K3_Instruction_Manual.pdf
