This device made painting up high with a ladder safe on a stairwell. I was painting the stairwell in our two story home, and couldn’t reach the high walls or ceiling. This beats cutting a ladder leg. I can’t figure how to get this URL to post, so here it is. (I did use the “create hyperlink” button). http://pic5.picturetrail.com/VOL83/530097/1691038/128255063.jpg

I have the Little Giant ladder with the leg leveler accessory. It works well for stairs. I have a tall skylight well above the stairs, and I've been able to reach all parts of it.

I hire out my high work.
Here's a pic of my guy on his way into work the other day.
How well does the leg leveler work? I'm looking at the LG and would like the leg attachment for uneven ground outside.
ailkie it, but get two, won't have to switch back and forth.

It works quite well. It's a sort of two sided clamp thing with an extra piece of leg material that clamps outboard of the leg. Adjusting it is easy, just loosen, slide, and tighten.
Changing sides is a bit harder, the clamp thingy is difficult to disassemble and re-assemble. So, if you need to change direction of slope a lot, it would be worthwhile to get two of them, and leave them both on the ladder.

thanks, I think I'll pick one up at the next show. I'll see what I can get them to throw in to the deal.
Ah, finally a picture! And a good idea, too. A slight improvement would be to attach plywood to the top, lapping over the other step, so that both ladder legs would rest on the plywood and the support couldn't "roll" off the step. A further improvement would be some way to fine-tune the rise of the thing.
happy?
That's a good idea! It never moved a bit since it fit perfectly.
