Will laminated wood flooring work over a radiant heat floor put in radiantech floor board? It has the radiant aluminum on the top side to
position and hold heat. The laminated flooring is underlaid with the foam.

yes..
The slight "R" value of the laminate flooring will slow down the loss of heat transfer but not by any significant amount.. You could also do real wood flooring for another tiny increase.
To get an idea of the slight amount of R value place your hand on a glass window pane. (not double glass, single paned glass) feel how cold that is?/. that's the same amount that your laminate flooring will affect things..
Hi Doug, installing hardwood is usually no problem over radiant heating but there are some engineered wood floors that should not be - check the manufacturer's spec. And make sure that you let the flooring aclimatize in the room where it will be laid for a few days before installing.
(also. For future questions, filling in your profile will help you get more pertinant answers)
