What is the best way to check a rented laser level for accuracy? Or can you just trust them because they’re always right?

casey. Set up and mark the beam locations in four diff. locations. Move the laser to a different spot, mark these beam locations, measure the difference between the two. Same measurement, laser ok. Diff measurement, bogus.

get a water level and check the laser against that. You can get one that has 50ft of hose for about $12.00 that is accurat to 1/16 of inch over 200 ft. If you need 200 ft you just add more hose. :)
