I take it that you this is your website.
Are you "Carl" or are you "I". For others that is the only information given on the website.
It also claims that you are "professionals" but not in WHAT.
It appears to be the typical rants of screwed homeowners that get posted here from time to time.
I say typical because the website has all the charm and clarity of a 2 year old throwing a temper trantrum on the grocery store floor because it can't have a piece of candy.
Badly formated. Terible backgrounds that make half of it unreadable.
The other half point to bad links.
And I live in the Kansas City area so I know what OVPK is, but I suspect that 90% of the people on Breaktime don't.
PS I wonder what happend to the last guy that was her that had a similar rant website that was unreadable.http://www.leakywindows.comThe website does not exist anymore.
You're right --- that's close to the worst website I've ever seen. And I'm interested in stucco problems.
Hi Bill I am a stucco contractor and have been for 20years .I have 26 years in the trade and am sick of what is being done to it! I am not sorry if you do not like the website. Stucco is getting a bad rap. There are a lot of issues with windows and house wrap installation that cause leaks and the stucco industry is getting blamed for them to. The web site is a work in progress we are trying to improve it. I just keep getting told by the builders I just need it to last a year. Sorry thats not good enough. The codes people are starting to put forth a little effort. There are a lot of houses that are going to just rot away. I can be reached at the # on the website! In your mind what is ovpk?
PS only time will tell how long this website will be around ! Thanks Carl

"In your mind what is ovpk"Overland Park (KS).But as I said I live in the area, Blue Springs to be exact. But I did not realize that there was that much stucco problems in the area. Actually I did not realize there was that much stucco work in the area.In fact I really surprised to see a stucco material supply house in Blue Sprins. Now let me give you some advice. In any forum went someone post a link to a website it is assumed that they don't have anything to do with that website unless they say that they do. IE, that they are not touting there own horn.Your message immediately raised suspions and then I saw that this was your first post.A message identify yourself. If you had started out with "Hi Bill I am a stucco contractor and have been for 20years .I have 26 years in the trade and am sick of what is being done to it!" and I have put together a website showing the problems and/or solutions and/or what to watch for. That would have gone a long way to make you look crediable in here. The other thing is that there are strong prohibition against advertising commercial sites. That is clearly listed in the rules. Now I can not tell if you website is commercial or not.In fact I can't tell what it is suppose to be.Who is it aim for" HO, GC, stucco contractor, who?But first you need to FIX IT.Start off with the first link to Problems.Yes, it does show 3 bad problems. But of WHAT?No perspective of what they are or where they in the house. The next link is Directory of Picture. Click on that and all you get is BS.That is what what is says at the top of the page, BS. And you also get a bunch of holders for pictures, but nothing in them.
The site has some tech issues and we are trying to get them fixed. Computers are not always most cooperative. If you will call me at the # on the site I will explain a lot of your questions. It is not a buissness all of the work done on it is donated time,It is to inform the public. The codes people/builders/politicians/insurance people just turn a deaf ear to the problems. And you are right about how it comes across I am not a sugar coating type person! And the stucco market in the kansas city metro is HUGE! I am sure the amount of growth blue springs has gone thru in the last 10 years it also has these problems! It is a nation wide problem from whatI understand. When the insurance companys are thru wit h all of use no one will be able to do anything but work to pay there premiums they are going to sky rocket! Paul Wenske at the kansas city star is looking for a face to put on the story and he will run it. The website says right on it good stucco gone bad! It is to raise questions and the # is there and I will try to awnser them. We do not have to have this conversation in a public forum but I am not going to hide. At first I thought it would be better to be anonymous. But I beleive it is all true so tell it like it is. I appriciate your concerns about how it should be presented. It is sunday morning and hopefully the site is working better after the work that was put into it yesterday!
