I've been looking for the same thing. The problem I have is they only seem to mount the tape holder on the same side as the tool pouch. I'm a righty like you and I also like the tape to be on the left side. But I don't want the tool pouch on the left. It's more natural picking them out with my right hand. And I've always had my nail bag on the left because that's the logical place.

Now you know how it is for us lefties, we have to put up with everything on the wrong side.
Suck it up and live with it! :)

It must suck being built wrong. View ImageWho Dares Wins.
I just picked up a nice Task brand pouch (3 pockets on each side of this pouch) that is quite similar to the occidental framers, the tape pouch is on the left, its nice and large , unlike the occidental's ive seen which won't hold a man-sized tape measure and often end up getting used for a chalk line or something other than they were intended for. I'm used to having my tape on the right, but it makes sense to have it on the left, im having a hard time getting used to it.
I shoul take a picture of my pouch and post it...i cant find it online anywhere, since its Canadian made.

OK I took a picture :)
It has a nice cellphone holder built on the left side with a velcro flap as well as some knife and pencil pockets inside the large right pocket.
hmm...it says "Sorry, SLEDBC, you've exceeded your personal document space allocation." even though i havent uploaded previously.

Anyone know the code to show an image in a post?
An image that exists on another URL is included in a post with the IMG tag. An example might be something like:
<img src="http://www.myisp.com/myfolder/pix.gif">
There are some other attributes that you can include, such as the placement, a message if the picture isn't found, and the size, but the above tag is all you really need if you know the location of the picture and it is of a reasonable size to include inline.
If you were writing a Web page from scratch, you would need to establish the page with at least some BODY tags, but Prospero provides that for you, so all you need is the IMG tag in a post on Breaktime (or at least I think, I haven't done it for a while...)
edit: whoops the tag is <img src...> not <img source...>, sometimes my fingers do too much thinking on their own...

ok, so html :) I'm used to using forum software that has built in image tags, eg [img]http://www.urlofimage.com[/img]
Thanks!
Occidental does make some nice belts with the tape holder on the left. Here are links to a couple. I thought seriously about both of these sets when I bought a belt recently.

They also make their most popular sets in "left" and "right" hand models. I would think you could mix and match to get what you want...
Have fun shopping,

Can't speak as a lefty, but the occi belts are great, I have the pro-framer bags and love them.
I didn't get the sheepskin belt based on something someone said here, they didn't like it, didn't see any great benefit.
i have an old set of McRose leather nail bags that are very much like occidental's but they have the tape holder on the left side. left side tape holder is only way to go for a righty, you pull tape out with left hand and pencil out with right ready to layout/mark. McRose are made in Santa Cruz, California. I think they are no longer in business as it is years since I have seen their products. You can always have customizations made at shoe/boot repair shops. have the occidental's modified.

ugh...
4Lorn1 is correct I took mine to a shoe repair guy and had him change my cats paw sleeve to the "correct" side. Did that before I learn that Occidental makes left hand models. I like my tape to sit in a small pouch instead of that leather tape holder "box". Damn thing is too tight for the tape.

Many years ago I had the pleasure of working around a talented, and left-handed, lead carpenter. He had something like a half dozen tool belts in his trailer. Each was equipped and configured for a different job. One day another carpenter, a right hander, showed up without a tool belt. He borrowed one from the lead. He had a devil of a time because all the pouches and holders were reversed.
When he asked where the lead had gotten them the lead man told him that he bought high quality commercial models and took them to an area cobbler to have the pouches repositioned.
Not sure this helps but it could be an option. A talented cobbler, or other worker in leather, can do wonders.
