Since this board has turned into mainly amature hour DIY topics here’s one for us.
I’d just like to say thanks to the DIY’ers keeping us in buisness. Keep flushing things down the toilett that don’t belong there. Wait years to clean out your gutters. Save all those magazines and newspapers you may someday read scattered about the floor, they make a good drop cloth. And save all those skinny clothes in the closet where we need attic access from, you may fit in them one day. And we love the maze trail through the junk strewn basement to get to the electric service. Along with 7 days of dishes and trash in the kitchen.
This job is not a bed of roses and we work because we have to but please don’t treat us as second class citizens bent on taking your money and doing shoddy work.
How much would you charge to remove a hot water baseboard cover thats been pee’d on for 20 years?

Nothing; Hey, us really cheap DIYs just give the advice to sand the top and paint it!
BTW, clear poyurethane develops white spots when high uric acid concentrations are involved. <G>
