Hey guys talking with my local building inspector a few months ago he had mentioned that PA is looking at licensing contractors. I checked the L&I website (PA’s Labor and Industry) who governs this type of thing and didn’t see any mention of it. I would like to be one of the first to get my license for numerous reasons some of which can be found floating around these boards. anyway I have a copy of our code (BOCA ’96) and have studied it diligently but want to look into one of those study courses that I’ve heard mentioned around this site. this may seem dumb but where would I look for something like that. I’m thinking that because we don’t currently have licensing that there may not even be something like that yet. I still would like to look into it nonetheless. thanks for any and all of your inputs.
