I am installing three (3) lights on the wall over a double sink vanity top. There are two mirrors with one light to the far left, a center light between the mirrors, and a third light on the far right. I would like to try to switch the left and center light from the left switch, and the right and center light from the right switch. Unlike a three way switch, I want the center light to stay on when either switch is in the on position.
For example, when the left switch is on, the left and center light is on. When I then turn the right switch on, the right and center light are on. If I then turn the left switch off, the left light goes out but the center light stays on.
Anyone know of a switch that would do this? Thanks in advance.
(ps I already heard from my electrician… he wants to know why I need two sinks in the first place!!)

What you need is a double pole (single throw) switch. They are readily available, but not as near common.
One pole of the two switches are wired in parallel to control the common light.
The 2nd pole on each switch is to control the individual light for that side.
Thanks Bill. I wasn't sure if the outputs for those were common or isolated. I appreciate your reply. That should work fine.
