I doubt that you will find them in a replacement receptacle.
>> I doubt that you will find them in a replacement receptacle.Possibly not, but you could cut off the receptacle and add a utility box with one or two duplex outlets and an indicator lamp.....

P&S has lighted ends. new stuffJack of all trades and master of none - you got a problem with that?
Ridgid makes cords.
Do they make 12g?
Fellow carpenter appeared with a 10g from them. Both ends light up and the thing is as supple as a silk rope. Must be a lot of fine wires in that vs. a few big ones in my 10g cord.

I'd say that maybe 25-30% of the medium-duty extensions you find in a big box have the lighted ends. Have never seen a replacement end with a light, though.
Yellow Jacket is a brand name of a good cord with lighted ends. I think that woods now owns this brand. I always buy these cords - they are nice and soft, even in winter.

Yeah, when they first came out with the lit cord ends I thought it was a bit of a gimmick, but I quickly realized how useful it was. And it probably only adds about ten cents to the cost of the cord.

I like the new ones with the lite at both ends...

If the plug still works but the light is gone, you might try something like adding this lighted triple tap on the end. I have one and have used it on occasion. I don't know how rugged it really is but it has worked so far. At Harbor Freight:

There is a 50 ft cord with lighted plug:

Or if you really want to go first class and get a lighted triple tap with a GFCI:

I'm cheaper than you so I keep one of these in my tool pouch at all times. One guy I did some pick up framing for liked it so much I had to buy him one for Christmas.
