I have a client that has a patio with integral color (red) in the concrete and is very unhappy with it. It came out much too dark and the people who put it in gave it three muratic acid baths only to make it blotchy – dark gray/charcoal spots on the red- it looks bad.
There are two adjacent slabs to the red slab poured at different times thus different colors and they would like to have all three areas look alike which I said would be very difficult to do and not to count on it..
I’m wondering if anyone has bleached colored concrete or used any other substance to lighten it.
TIA, Vern

What would the folks at Davis Colors (www.daviscolors.com) have to say?
