Hi,
My new house isn’t finished but I have the water to water heat pump running so the workers can work in a comfortable environment. I’ve noticed when the heat pump starts up that the overhead lights dim. My electrician says this is not a problem and would be difficult to trace. His statement that I guess was supposed to comfort and assure me was that his own lights dim when his refrigerator kicks on.
I have 200 amps to the house.
Nothing else in the house is running at the time the lights dim.
I can’t imagine lights dimming as ok. It certainly is a nuisance in a new house.
What do you think? Is this something that should be let go or do you believe there’s a problem?
Thanks.
Linda
