We have a log home and I have some logs that are getting cracks on the exterior. I would like to caulk them before winter to get them sealed up and prevent moisture from getting in and cracking further.
Any tips on a caulk to use? I want something that will remain flexible and have some longevity to it.
Thanks!

My standby caulk for those criteria is Geocel 2300.

Check out:

The product I would use is called Check Mate
Do you have much experience with Permachink products? We used a lot of it 12-15 years ago and had massive product failures. I like it's texture, color selection and ease of tooling. Wonder if they've tinkered with the formula since I've tried it.

I don't personally. I just happened to be on their website just before switching over here, and thought I would let you know about it. I don't know if they are good or not, just wanted you to it was out there as a possibility.
I use the Geocel on mine.
