Does any one know where I can get a long handle glue gun for glueing up floor joists?A guy I used to work with had one and I have looked all over but have come up empty so I figure somebody here will know either where to find one or who makes it and I’ll locate them.

Go figure.
Panel adhesive comes in quart tubes. Get a quart tube calk gun.
I haven't seen a lumberyard yet that didn't carry them......if they carry the quart tubes.

*He means the guns that are about 3' long, and have a guide that rides the joist to center the glue. I bought one a few years ago from Tool Crib of the North...got it, redesigned it to do a better job and made 4 more for my crews.
*Hey Keith,Sounds to me like another un-needed tool. I'd like to see your re-design as I am unfamiliar with the original tool but I am always interested in a new twist.I never had that much trouble using a regular caulk gun. Regular or jumbo.Ed.
*just about every lumberyard around here has them, cost is higher then I would like and I have never had one, still use the large cartridge and reach.The special ones around here have an extended handle of about 3 feet and cost about $60They only make them for the 2x stock or narrow TJ-Is, or at least thats all Ive seen
