Longer coolant line on a central AC?
Thinking of repositioning the central AC unit from outside a BR window to a different wall without windows. The only real issue I see is that the coolant line will go from 10-12′ long to around 25-27′ long.
Does anyone see a problem with a 25-27′ coolant line? (assuming I put the pipe insulation on it)

As long as the line is less than 50' it should not have a large effect on the SEER rating.
Depends on the specs for your unit, but it doesn't sound outrageous.
We have two houses in the valley. One's about 30 ft., and the other at least 45 ft. So it must be doable, at least in the Southern California climate. Does your HVAC guy see a problem?

Its very do-able. There should be no major difference in height
between the compressor and a-coil (in furnace).
