There was an article in the Oct/Nov ’97 issue by Rick Arnold & Mike Guertin that described a finger jointerd pre-primed cedar clapboards but did not indicate a source. Does anyone know of a source for this type of material?
Thanks
Carl

Carl,
I work at a full service lumber yard. We take our f-j cedar siding and send it to a pre-stainer. Then we keep a supply in inventory. If a customer desires 2-coats we can supply that at an additional charge. I would think any decent lumber yard could do the same.
