I’m trying to figure out what is the best finish for a mohagany floor on an exterior porch with a roof. We want to keep the natural wood look. Originally, we experimented with “Severe Weather Sealer” (or something like that). But that was a sort of oil, that had quite a tooth and appeared to pick up a lot of dirt and be tough to sweep. Then, we sanded that down and put on polyurethane. That has been horrible as it becomes worse than an ice skating rink after the zamboni has been through when a little snow blows on the porch. Also, it discolors when it gets wet. I’m now thinking of going back to the Severe Weather stuff. We live in Upstate NY so severe weather sounds appropriate. I’d be grateful for any ideas.
