I HAVE AN OLD CHANDELIER WITH 5 HANGING CONESHAPED GLASSHADES . THE SHADES ARE APPR. 3″ IN DIAMETER AND ABOUT 10″ LONG. I HATE THE CHANDELIER BUT THE GLASSHADES ARE BEAUTIFUL, I WANT TO MAKE INDIVITUAL WALL SCONCES WITH THE SHADES, EITHER FACING DOWN OR UP. ANY IDEAS HOW TO DO IT? SORRY ABOUT THE CAPITAL LETTER, I DON’T KNOW HOW TO CHANGE THAT ON MY KEYBOARD.

The first thing I would try would be to see if you can find a wall sconce that will accomodate your shades and just swap them out.
Their should be a "caps lock" key on your keyboard. Each press toggles the mode.
Look over to the left side of you keyboard for a button marked "caps lock" and push it. The green light on the right side of your keyboard marked C/lock should go out.
You may be able to fit the glass shades to existing sconces provided the bases work. Or remove those bases and attach them to new sconces.
Personally, I'd find some sconce light fixtures that would accept that size of glass.
