Hey everyone,
Not long ago I bought a 12″ makita slide saw. Liked my 10″ makita so much figured it was a safe bet. I’m finding the blade has a bit of wobble. changed the blade, same problem. a friend has the same saw with the same problem.
Anyone else out there with this dilemma?

No one likes their 12" SCMS as much as their 10". Only suggestion I can make is don't run a thin-kerf blade in it.
I'll have to try that, thanks for the thought"it aint the work I mind,

Dunno if they make them... but if Forrest makes a good 12" blade for a SCMS then this might be the time to splurge, make that saw actually work real well.
If Forrest doesn't make one, they'll design one for you if you ask.George Patterson, Patterson Handyman Service
Forrest Chopmaster blade on my 12" DW708 works very well. Full kerf is essential when making compound cuts to reduce lateral deflection.Bill
I'm running a forrest blade on my 12" Makita and we get ice smooth cuts

Another thumbs up for the Forrest blade. I had a little bit of the same problem with my 12" Dewalt slider and all was well after I changed to the Forrest Chopmaster blade. It's more $$ but you'll not regret it.
Not sure which model you are talking about, but I have the LS1211.....old school....no complaints.
