manuf. for slow rise foam insulation
I have an insulation application that consists of a CMU residence that has its interior wall finishes as follows. nominal 1×2 furring with 1/2″ drywall plus plaster. leaving a nominal 3/4″ void between the CMU exterior wall and the interior finish.
It is this 3/4″ space that I wish to insulate. I have concluded that foam is the better choice vs. cellulose, which will not fill the void reliably. To date, I have found only one manufacturer, FOMO, of a slow-rise 2 part foam that will do the job. The slow-rise formula allows the foam to rise up the cavity sufficiently before curing, as well as not stressing the mechanical fastening that hold the drywall in place. This is a renovation condition where interior finish penetrations must be kept to a mnimum
Are there any other sources of a SIMILAR slow-rise product that anyone has had experience with?
