Epoxy is the way to go, you can use your belt sander to make marble dust to mix with it and get the color just right. I like to wait until it starts setting up then I trim off excess with a razor blade. Get some of the thicker "Gell" stuff it's easiest to work with. Go get a similar scrap at the yard and practice once. You'll be pleased to add the skill to your bag of tricks.

customer has 12"x 12" marble, 2 tiles are broken up. If I can't find replacements , What would be a way to repair? expoxy? just grout?
the cause maybe the 2x4 post in basement for the stair rail, pushing up against subfloor. This 12year old house now has a 3/4" crown in the center hall.
great trim details, bad support detail!!
Thanks for any info, Robert
