MATAL CROWN MOULDING

I AM HAVING TROUBLE WITH THE MITERS OVER LAPPING ON METAL CROWN MOULDING BENT ON A BRAKE.I DO NOT WANT TO BUTT THE TWO TOGETHER.ANY HELP

    Scribe the profile exactly about 3/4" back from the cut end, snip with tin snips, tabs about 3/8ths or 1/2" wide, bend them back or OUT for an inside corner, and poprivet the meeting pc to the tabs.
