Matching Solid Surface/Laminate Counters
I was at the Home Show in Vancouver last year, and only one of the many kitchen cabinet companies worked with a manufacturer that made matching solid surface and laminate countertops. Unfortunately I did not write down the manufacturers name and now I’m hoping someone on this forum may know. Thank you.

Danielle, Wilson Art has both solid surface and laminate. Perhaps it was them.

Thanks Calvin. I've gone to their website, lots of colours to choose from. My cabinetmaker uses them and after speaking with him today, he could only find one similar match. If only I wrote down the manufacturers name! Thank you again for your help.
If you are talking about the edge treatment for laminate tops that uses a solid surface and laminate for the front edge, It is called Gem-Loc. The stuff works pretty well. It's a little hard to get the solid surface edge perfectly flush with the laminate top. It wound up using a cabinet scraper/card scraper. Stuff runs about $50 per 12' strip. Plus shipping and carton charge.
