I’ve got a no name nail gun that works just fine. One thing I’ve learned though, is all slanted collated nails aren’t created equal – mine are 28 degree clipped heads, Cenco’s are 34 degree clipped heads and Lord ony know if there are other standards. My question is simple can anyone out there give me cross reference to a mainline nailer brand that uses 28 degree clipped head collated nails? Any enlightenment is most appreciated!

Mecho,
I think the bostitch gun nails aren't collated as steeply as other brands. If you havent already, check them out. It seems like I read at one time that bostitch collated their nails at about 28-30 degrees.
Those two are pretty much the standard for the most popular nails, the senco type 34 degree and whatever bostitch collates theirs at. It is the same situation with bostitch and senco type angled finish nails.

If you will go Here
,
you will find a cross reference guide.
It is a PDF
Bostich nails are 28 degree. So maybe that's all you need.
