Hi everyone, I am a contractor in California that remodeled some comercial office spaces. I am required to post in everyroom the maximum number of people that are allowed based on square footage of rooms. Can anyone help me with some numbers for maximum occupancy in comercial spaces?
Thanks in advance!

I would call the local Fire Marshall.

The CBC (table 10-A) lists occupant factor of 100sf/person for offices. So take your office square footage and devide by 100, then round down to nearest hole number. Be careful, since some offices have assembly spaces which is a different occupant load factor. And, as previously stated, also verify this calculation with the local fire department (some make their own rules...).
I had to know this question to take the exam for the construction supervisor's license in Mass last week.
I forgot the figures. Thank god i passed the exam.
Your code book may have it in there, I'd check in chapters about exit ways and fire egress.
