No tools cept for a new iPad and some ext. device batteries to recharge the flip phone etc. probably grab a solar panel for our extended off grid camping.....
and another notch lengthwise on the belt.
My christmas was different...by choice.
I have no need for new tools. I spent a delightful christmas with my wife of 38 yrs. in Denver, doing an upscale bathroom remodel with my son, while his client was out of town. We slipped into coffee shops, ordered hot Yerba Mate`, and talked a mille a minute about all sorts of things. We also went to a shelter and purchased cute female and male cats as house-warming gifts. We played ping pong in his heated garage with neighbors, took long walks, and generally had an enjoyable time...while we worked.
Work can be a chore...it can be fun. It all depends on how you go about it.
