For years I have owned a cheap cheap cheap compass, scribe, divider for scribing countertps to walls or paneling aginst a brick wall oreven better..a stone wall.
I t was about 3 inches long and fit in my tool belt pocket perfectly. I t was a no-nonsense scribe made of cheap metal. You simply slid your pencil inot the holder and it had a simply small wingnut to hold your desired space in place. It probably sells for $1.00.
I have lost it!!!! For such a cheap tool it is invaluable. I am tired of using other methods, and I don’t want a bigger divider with bells and whistles. Does anyone know where to get one of these. Everything is made of plastic now days.
Please help!

I would first look at an office supply.
then a walmartian type store-in the school supplies.
If I was close, I'd stop by a blowes or depot.
I remember still seeiing them.
Mug a 6th grader on the way to school.
