I am considering the purchase of a county home that has a 2,000 Ft addition that is only shelled out. My concern is that the roof is corrugated metal attached directly to the joists without sheeting. Will I have to pull this roof off and deck it, or is it acceptable to go without the sheeting? Also is it possible to put skylights in this type of roofing. It is the same material you see on rural barns.
It’s on a nice piece of property, the price is right, but it has the feel of a money pit.
Thanks,
