One of my Milwaukee 18 volt Ni-Cad batteries just stopped working. The battery worked fine one moment and nothing thereafter. I can’t get it to take a charge. The terminals on the battery look fine (no corrosion and not bent). The charger seems fine since my other battery will still take a charge. After reading around, it seems this problem is quite common with Milwaukee Ni-Cad batteries. Would it even be worth attempting to have the battery rebuilt or just go with new batteries?

Look for the production number on the battery and call their service center. 262-781-5354 or 1-800-SAWDUST (729-3878). They can help you. Sounds like a lead came loose. Call them before you get curious and look inside.
