Looks like the charger for my cordless drill has crapped out. And the drill isn’t worth much without it. I got to looking at amazon.com and came up with 3 options.
First is a simple charger:
Second are a pair of Multi-Bay Battery Chargers:
One of these is $120, and the other one is $150. But I can’t see any difference. Anybody got any clue what the difference is?
Or do any of you have an old 18V charger that you don’t use?
There are very few personal problems that cannot be solved through a suitable application of high explosives.

When mine died I just bought another drill with two batteries and a charger. At that time my batteries were getting worse and I was in need of a few.
How old is it? If it's new enough, it'll be under warranty. Call their service center and tell them what happened. Go to http://www.milwaukeetool.com and see what they will do for you. If it's out of warranty, open your and see if there's a blown fuse. Shorted batteries kill chargers. They sometimes have refurbed chargers available. Otherwise, if you want more bang for your buck, gte one of their Job Site radios. It has a port on it for a battery. $89 at most big box stores.

i saw a place when i was browsing on e-bay that specializes in rebuilding batteries.
i would do a search for cordless rebuilt batteries and see if they can do anything for your charger.
The drill is about 3 years old, but still going strong. Nowhere NEAR needing replacement.
God did not create the world in 7 days; he messed around for 6 days and then pulled an all-nighter.
So it's 3 years into the 5 year warranty. Call them about it.

The Milwaukee radio does not charge the battery - it just runs from it.Check Ebay - chargers alone are always available. Or, check HeavyDutyTools.com - they have the 3 bay charger/conditioner for $115 or so.JT
