I think mine was $55 with a "free" drill bit. Less than $60, I think, with shipping.
Great radio!

I quit going to pawnshops many years ago
My house had been robbed
I found many of my things at the local pawn shop
Police said they couldn't help me since I didn't have a list of serial numbers or any identification numbers that I had engraved into the items
I could tell them about cosmetic flaws they would find on things - even before they opened the cases, but that was not enough
Fine folks at the pawnshop agreed to sell me my stuff back at 25% off the price they had marked it
Used to buy quite a few things at pawn shops prior to that - now just really can't bring myself to go into the places.
I understand what u are say'n... Pawn shops & police in my area don't operate that way... as a former pawnbroker and pres of the pawnbrokers ####. We wrote the law that required pawnshops in our area to a. require fingerprints on all persons pawning, b. keep logs that must be electronicly transfered to the police dept each day with every item, ser#.ect...... hold all pawned items for 60 days before they are placed out for sale, hold all pawned items 48hrs before the person pawning can pick em up, any person found to be pawning something stolen name goes on a "do not pawn list" that is given to every pawnshop everyday...
what all this doesn't address is all the second hand stores, fleamarkets, jewelery stores ect... you wouldn't think twice about buy'n "estate jewelery"
good & bad everywhere...

Money burning a hole in my pockets is definitly not a problem.
However I did chuck my last work radio in the dumpster on Thursday, and was trying to justify getting a nice one. Saw your post and thought I would be upgrading.
Guess I will have to go to Goodwill and shell out another $3 - $5 for a new radio on Monday to get me through.
don't know if they have BigLots in your area... but for $7 u can get a new one or for $12.99 u can get one with a CD.... people in china have to eat too
