Have you seen truss manufacturers supply these with the truss package, and show their locations on erection drawings? I want my truss supplier to do this.

our supplier puts them in position for us. we just stand the truss and pivot the stabilizer to the next truss.

I've never been too impressed with them.
For starters, I think they're about $1 apiece. (But I'm not sure, and would like to know the correct price) You can buy an awful lot of lumber for that kinds of money. And you can take the lumber down and re-use it.
Why is it that you're interested in them?
You are only young once, but you can stay immature indefinitely.
BOSS;
Your tag line is pointing right at me. I wanna know how you knew? ;-)
MORE TOYS NOW.....
We did one job with the stabilizers made by Mitek. The trusses were 33' span 9/12 pitch. The building was about 110' long. By the time we got to the last truss (sheathed gable), the trusses were about 2 1/2" out of plumb. Apparently, the guy on top was really hammering them in tight and he didn't check things as he went. We had always used Simpson's metal fold out spacers combined with wood furring. The Miteks are pricey and I'm not sure we would use them again. It's really a tough call as to whether they save money on the job.
