Was doing a little shopping at a local Home Depot yesterday and noticed they are selling that Rigid miter saw sled/stand for 99 bones again. Looks like maybe they are introducing a new and improved model, but I’m not sure.
I’ve had mine for a few years now and am really happy with it. For 99 skins, hard to go wrong.
Just thought I’d pass the news.
I’ll eat your peaches, mam. I LOVE peaches!

That's the new style stand they are selling for $99.
It looks like a nice design - it now has removable saw mounts like the Dewalt.
Only prob is, it wieghs about 104lbs.
Great deal for $99 though, but I'm happy with my Dewalt and it only weighs 35lbs. I hang it on the wall of my trailer - takes up no room.
If you don't have any stand, and it's for your garage or you have a large trailer with a ramp door - the Ridgid is a great deak at $99.

Hey. Last Sunday I ordered some Multimaster blades from that link you posted. Right away they e mailed back saying I had ordered enough to get a free one, which one did I want? So I told them and they mailed the order out Monday.
Just checked the mail today and there they were. Look like nice heavy stainless they are made of. Feel a lot stiffer than the Fein blades. Looking forward to trying them out. Thanks again for that link - think I paid about 15 bucks each with the free one. I'll eat your peaches, mam. I LOVE peaches!
I have the first MSUV and the DeWalt. Considering getting the new MSUV. It appears that it has the best of both going for it. The last job I did was a deck for my sister and it was real handy rolling the Ridgid into her outside storage shed at night.
I had the first Ridgid MSUV too - it's one heckuva engineering feat, that's for sure.I found the work support/stops were too hard to tweak to exact setting - the clamp really bites into the support arm and makes it a lot less than smooth. It was heavy as #### too, the new one's heavier. If they'd put all that fancy engineering into using less materials and clean up the adjustments and make it lighter - it'd be worth whatever they wanted to charge for it.As it is, for $99 - you cannot go wrong. Just realize it's a beast to lift up into the truck or van.JT
Thanks, I have a utility trailer that it rolls on and an making a neat little ramp for the van. I kept a bunch of the extrusions from an old satellite dish and will use three of them with some ply screwed to them. I have a hitch packer receiver hitch carrier that I am building also that is another way to transport.
