Hello all! I love Inspired House et. al. but my husband and I would like to build a long, low, modern house, stone and glass and wood 40s-70s style. Can anyone suggest a source for plans, or architects you love so we can get ideas?
Thanks!
Claire

Claire - it sounds like you love that style as much as we do!
Our house is pictured on letters page of the May/June issue of IH (I'm the letter writer from Westwoods MA, outside Boston) - take a look and if you like the style of our house, I'll give you the name of our architect. We've been very happy with his design.
We have a Richard Neutra style modernist house built in 1967....not done by him alas, but very similiar. Neutra is my favorite residential architect - a true genius.
