I am in the design phase of a custom home, and I am investigating more energy efficient construction techniques.

Has anyone worked with this material, http://www.monotech.com/ monocrete?  I am looking at using steel framing with an integrated EPS insulation that will cover the entire external walls.  The monocrete could be applied directly to the EPS sheath, even without any mesh.

My architect suggested an EIFS like DryVit, but my research here and elsewhere shows more ways for it to go wrong than right.

This monocrete is relatively new, so I can’t get any historical data anywhere.  Anyone help?
