Google has reformated the Sketchup discussion forums, and has integrated Sketchup user education into the site as well. Go and surf around in “sketchucation” and you will see.
A guy who does house plans for a living shows in a couple of threads how he goes about using SU to do detailed house plans. Pretty cool stuff.
In one discussion, he weighs in on the topic of how some clients object to the use of Sketchup for doing their plans, saying it is just a piece of free shareware, anyone can use it, and it’s not up to the standards of the other “pro” software packages.
His response to those clients is, after he gives them a big completed file to view and use SU to navigate around in, “let’s see YOU do the house using this.”

I found the forum but Gene mentioned a few threads specifically and then left us hanging.

C'mon, Jon, go digging at the site. There are many more nuggets to be mined than that one thread.
Go here http://www.sketchucation.com/forums/scf/viewforum.php?f=20 and then tell us if you can find it.
Gene,Yes, I think was able to find the thread. I guess I'm okay at playing hide & seek.I just assumed that since you called out a specific group of threads in your first post you would probably want people to actually find the threads you're referring to.

Thanks Gene. I can't wait to dig into that a bit.
