I mounted a tiny 12″ x 15″ undermount sink in a bathroom vanity today per the marble companies instructions. PL Premium and used some 2x’s and threaded rod to sandwich it and let it set for 24 hours. . Seems solid as a rock.
My question is this, I’m used to setting them in 1 1/8″ granite with anchors. This is only 3/4″ marble so I didn’t want any mounting plugs drilled into my top. Is the adhesive enough or should I install some rails underneath (not much access). Like I said, it’s tiny, so water weight won’t be much of an issue.
Thanks everyone, Chuck

I recently had a granite guy install a sink in my own basement. He has been doing granite for over 20 years. He installed the sink similar to your way but used silicone instead of PL Premium. I think you're safe.
Have a good day
