The recipe for linoleum hasn't changed much in nearly 170 years, yet it's still one of the greenest floors money can buy.

We looked into it and the price scared it off, ended up with a Rinnai C85I for under $1,200
Nerd, we're talking modulating condensing boilers here, not tankless water heaters.
Got one. I like it. Has the ability to run at at a higher fire rate than 80 for domestic hot water when set up with the vision I controls.

Gene, I have seen the munchkin on jobsites they are popular. I've had one of these- http://www.jupiterheating.com/trinity-boiler.html , the T200 in my house for 2 1/2 years and am happy with it. It co-heats the domestic with a coil.
These tankless boilers can be noisy when they fire up and run, isolation from sleeping/ living areas might be advised.
I recently had to replace the spark igniter on mine and I found out a disadvantage of having water and heating from the same system. I had neither showers or warmth until repaired, along with an unhappy wife. ; ^ )

Trust in God, but row away from the rocks.
I've got the same system hooked up to a water heater. The munchkin is effiecent, however, I was not aware of the yearly maintainence that was required. Came home from work one day and it wasn't running (second year of owning it). Come to find out you have to take it apart and clean the inside out once a year. With the T80 wall mount, that requires almost complete disassembly including dicsonnection of the gas line. Not a lot of fun.
I found wells mcleain has a similar boiler with 95% afue rating and maintainence is far easier. Just my 2 cents
