Non-stop, 33.5 hours. I set the concrete bases on Sunday at 10 am, and went to the shop to start. My help met me at the shop at 7:30 am Monday morning to help finish the brass clips. We finished setting the top members of the trellis at 7 pm Monday eve.
We did build the girder section on Friday afternoon, so I guess it wasn’t a true blitz.
I wouldn’t recommend trying this for fun. Funny, I think I began seeing the artistic side better in a sleep deprived haze. I was having problems towards the end with tracking the layout…

*Beautious !I bookmarked your site.b : )
*this is before
*and just about done.
*Very nice and original work! Why your building code alllows so close to each other? The neighbor would never have been allowed to encroach on space for saftey reasons most places.
*it was grandfathered onto an existing foundation, allowed 35' total height, with that wall being constructed with a one-hour fire rating.
