my tip of the day

brownbagg | Posted in Construction Techniques on September 16, 2007 05:08am

Had to make some boxes out of metal. keep having to measure corner to corner for square.

I use the triangle therom. a2+b2 = sq root of c2

got me two stainless welding rods and a small brass electrical clamp. made the distance, so now instead of picking up the tape and the glasses it just use the home made no go gauge.

.

      Thanks a lot...

Now that you got me thinking about it, I'll probably be humming it all afternoon.  Good thing I'll be working late today :)

    I thought it was a2+B2=c2.

The square root of c2 is c.

brownbag, runnerguy is correct. Go find Pathagoreams theorem (hope I spelled that right). For the ag crowd... 6,8,10 makes a square pig pen.

That's ok. But you might want to check the squareness of your boxes one more time......(wink).Runnerguy

Them boxes look square from here, but y'all sure bill a helluva lot of travel time.
