What is everyone’s favorite nail hole filler. I have been using elmer’ and ready patch, but don’t like that you have to go back and re-fill some holes. Have tried two part like bondo/minwax and it works great, but a pain to mix and it sets up too quick. any sggestions or products I might be missing.

crawfords putty (paintable moldings only).
If it's painted I use MH Ready Patch. Comes in the orange & black can, available in the box stores and most lumber & hardware. It's ready to use and goes on very smooth and can be used for small wall holes as well.
If it's sizable & needs to be somewhat structural I use Bondo. If it's outside & structural I use Amatron Epox system.
On stained stuff I use colored sandable putty after the first coat of finish, sand lightly and then coat 2&3.
Prefinished cabs etc I use the wax sticks they supply or I have a bunch of colored petro-wax that I can heat up and mix to the right color.
If it's a fine repair, I'll use shellac sticks & the alcohol lamp.
I make my own at times, mixing the sawdust of the wood I'm using with 5 minute epox or just plain old yellow glue or Titebond 3, (the best glue going I think).
For paint grade- overfill with any brand vinyl spackle, sand flush, prime, paint.
And for exterior work...?
